TALES FROM HELL

MY EYES ARE BURNING READING THIS CRAP TALK BETWEEN THESE TWO!!!
219. Welcome all to Blog 16. Today we have more hellish banter from the toxic twins. In my last blog, we left off at April 9, 2022. The texts you are about read are dated April 20 and 26, 2022. I have sent a request to the city to find out if there is any communication between these dates. I have not heard back yet.

220. So, first off, the incident that she is referring to was between two women who were arguing, and then at some point one struck the other. Why they sent five police officers over, I don’t know. But none the less, she wants to close us down (for, what feels like, the 50th time) for that. And then the Mayor chimes in his infinite wisdom, and suggests that they start billing us. I then reached out to the Chief to ask him about billing. (see below)

Thanks, Chief,
As always, thanks for your quick responses. On April 20, 2022, Mayor Paine sent a text to Melissa Hyatt that read "We can probably start billing for police calls". I never did get a bill, but I was wondering if, except for fake or pranks calls, has the SPD ever done that.
Thanks, Brian
Here is his response

HI Brian – there are a couple of ordinances that do, under certain situations, allow the city to bill for police responses. One has to do with false alarms – essentially each business gets three free police responses to their building’s alarm system for false alarms. Any responses that turned out to be legitimate are not counted in the three. After three the city can then charge a fee for future false alarm responses. The other is a chronic nuisance premises that allows the city to bill for responses after the owner has been notified, an abatement plan was in place, and if problems continued then charges associated to the police response can be billed.
Both have been utilized in the past. More regularly the false alarm fees. The chronic nuisance has been used sporadically, more often on rental properties that have chronic party problems. I believe it is something the Mayor had considered with Lady Vi’s and Centerfolds in the past.

213. Now she can’t see straight. Maybe because it’s 6:23 AM.

214. There is a lot in this one. To his credit, the Mayor said he was surprised that all this happened on a Monday night. I think this is the first time he has shown any curiosity to one of her claims. He’s right. This incident happened at closing. There was only two customers in the bar. One was a recently fired employee and another customer. The ex-employee started the fight and would not leave so our bartender called the police. The ex-employee was banned for life after the incident. As for all her rants, I have no proof or police reports to support her claims for that night. Maybe she couldn't “think straight” either. And as per usual, they continue to plot our demise. No talk of solutions or anything like that. Just take away our business, all our employees lose their jobs and depriving hundreds of customers access to one of their favorite places. What a feckless, weak and useless excuse for a Mayor.
216. Thanks for reading and you won’t want to miss the next few blogs.
